My name is Wakenna Jones and I am proud to call Ronald Edmonds MS 113 my new home. I have been teaching for over 30years. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. When I was young I would line up my dolls and pretend they were my students and I always enjoyed helping others learn and contributing to their inspirational growth. I went to Norfolk State University straight out of High School and presently attend SUNY Empire State College, which is were I’ll receive my Bachelors of Science in Human Services and Communication this summer. When I'm not in the classroom teaching I am usually enjoying my day by doing volunteer work In different communities. My philosophy is to “Have a GREAT day on purpose!” Therefore each day I strive to accomplish this and to encourage everyone I come into contact with to do the same.
