Mona Singletary

Program Associate

Mona Singletary is a Community Health Worker within New York City Health and Hospitals, as a student at Medgar Evers College Mona took a real interest in public administration, and addiction support. Born and raised in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, Mona feels a deep connection to its residents and works tirelessly to support her community through service. As the Program Associate within the Girls Just Want to Have Fun nonprofit organization she co-facilitates workshops and supports outreach for women to be empowered, and supported by way of networking, transparency, and education.

Mona believes in people and approaches life with optimism and positivity. Always willing to take on a new goal and challenge, Mona is actively learning to swim and drive at a young 55 years old. In her spare time, she is an active Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandma. She enjoys dancing, music, a good book, and good food.
